Tree Guard

With this guardian of the forest I got a lot of practice not only with organic sculpting, but also detailed organic texturing on a high poly character. Combining the stylization of the character and the realism of the textures was definitely a challenge I'd like to explore more. 

Responsible for all aspects. Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter.

To test how the textures came out in different environments I experimented with lighting the tree guard from different angles and with different HDRs.
